Why Silicone?

NON TOXIC • • •

Due to concerns regarding BPA, many people are switching to BPA-Free products. Silicone offers just that solution. Silicone DOES NOT contain toxic chemicals like bisphenol-A, lead, PVC and phthalates.

DURABLE • • •

Silicone is very durable so you won't have to worry about disposal for a long time. No need to dispose and create waste regularly, and silicone is recyclable. There are many specialty recycling facilities that recycle silicone.

SAFE • • •

Silicone is basically made up of silicon, a natural element present in sand and rock, which after oxygen, is the most abundant element on earth! Silicon is transformed into silicone when combined with oxygen, carbon, and hydrogen. Because it is an inert material, it does not react with food or liquids, so no unpleasant flavors can transmit.

Ditch the Sippy!
We absolutely love these lids. So much so that we ditched all the other sippies in our cupboards. We use them with half pint mason jars and small stainless steel cups. Two in daily rotation for almost two years and they are still in perfect shape. We take them to restaurants and on trips...and use daily at home. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Muscles
These sippy tops are so very handy, especially in the idea that they don't take up much space in a diaper bag. We always leave them in there in case we forget a full sippy cup or find ourselves in a situation where we didn't anticipate needing one. However, You really need to stretch them out in order to fit one of the tops around a cup. They work best on glass, but be careful with less sturdy cups, like the plastic ones you might encounter at a restaurant.
