New to cloth?  Attend a Cloth Diapering 101 Orientation where you'll receive an education in all things cloth, plus a series of discount codes for our site!

Are you a new or expectant parent?  Do you want to use cloth diapers but don't know where to start?  Need help deciding which diapers are best for you?  Attend one of our Cloth Diaper Orientation sessions, held monthly at The Midwife Center for Birth and Women's Health in the Strip District. We started our business because cloth diapers are better than disposables in every way, but there are so many options and so much misinformation out there that an expectant parent who is thinking about using cloth diapers can quickly get overwhelmed and just give up.  Our goal is to help people sort through all the information and help them find the right diapering system so that they will love cloth!  We carry an extensive selection of only the best cloth diapers available, but even so, there are still a lot of decisions to be made.  This is why we offer the Cloth Diaper Orientation sessions for expectant parents.  It offers an opportunity to learn everything you need to know in a low-pressure environment and an opportunity to see and touch the diapers as you learn about them.

Topics covered include:
  • Why to choose cloth diapers
  • How they work
  • A hands-on demonstration of the different types
  • How many diapers and which accessories you need
  • How to care for the diapers
  • How to decide what to buy
There is also a fair amount of discussion about newborn care as it dovetails with the diapering information.  For attending the orientation session, you will receive a coupon code good for 10% off your next three purchases at HBC (some exclusions apply). This discount is good on many items, not just cloth diapers and accessories, and most folks more than get back their fee paid for the class with their discount.
