Are you a new or expectant parent? Do you want to use cloth diapers but don't know where to start? Need help deciding which diapers are best for you? Attend one of our Cloth Diaper Orientation sessions, held regularly in various locations around the city. We started our business because cloth diapers are better than disposables in every way, but there are so many options and so much misinformation out there that an expectant parent who is thinking about using cloth diapers can quickly get overwhelmed and just give up. Our goal is to help people sort through all the information and help them find the right diapering system so that they will love cloth! We carry an extensive selection of only the best cloth diapers available, but even so, there are still a lot of decisions to be made. This is why we offer the Cloth Diaper Orientation sessions for expectant parents. It offers an opportunity to learn everything you need to know in a low-pressure environment.

How they work
A hands-on demonstration of the different types
How many diapers and which accessories you need
How to care for the diapers
How to decide what to buy

There is also a fair amount of discussion about newborn care as it dovetails with the diapering information. For attending the orientation session, you will receive a special coupon book (coupons are valid in-store only; some exclusions apply.) We also offer snacks to keep your blood sugar steady!

Orientations are generally scheduled at least monthly and hosted at the Midwife Center for Birth and Women's Health.

We are planning to have at least one Saturday afternoon class per month when possible, but there is always an option to add yourself to the waiting list and be notified when the next class is scheduled if none of the currently listed class times work for you. You're also always welcome to reach out to schedule a private consultation for cloth diapering, babywearing or both!
