Launched in 2010 as an online resource for sharing creative work and thoughts in the form of blogging, myheartcreative, an Oklahoma Web Design Studio, is now a full-time business ran by Amy and Vinod Samuel. With great passion for product design and a keen focus on what’s at the heart of the individual, businesses and nonprofit organizations, myheartcreative is devoted to the art of making. And we don’t do it alone; we have a team of multitalented professionals that help us along the way.

Our product design process allows us a creative outlet while also giving us a platform to experiment with different ideas, fabrics and packaging avenues in a hands-on, problem-solving fashion. We like to dig in and get our hands dirty, so to speak.

Our products, which range from baby carriers to bags and soothing beads, are designed with a purpose in mind; to make the babywearing experience an easy and stylish one for everyone involved. We believe in fostering the healthy development of babies all over the world, which is why we’ve teamed up with Lift Me Up Babywearing in donating our baby carriers in North America. We also extend the option to our customers to buy one/give one, which enables worldwide carrier donations.

MOTIVATION

Our baby carrier designs were inspired by our real-life need to find a ring sling design we felt comfortable using with our son. The result is a comfortable, adjustable, durable sling. Our purpose is to make our products practical, so we’ve made them useful by including a triangle-shaped tail and a large pocket for carrying along things like car keys or diapers. They are available in 100% natural linen or dupioni silk in bold, beautiful colors, sure to fit the aesthetic of any babywearer out there. 

And we didn’t stop there; we now offer the myheartcreative Mei tai, designed with the same end in mind--to make the babywearing process seamless and enjoyable to the largest range of users, both locally and internationally.

ASSEMBLY

All of our Ring Slings and Mei Tais are CPSC and CPSIA certified and are designed and produced by us right here in Oklahoma. Because we can’t do it alone, we have a talented team backing us up, including a lead seamstress with over 20 years of experience. We work hand-in-hand with international silk and linen experts to ensure our products are handmade from the finest materials. We are a member of the Handmade Toy Alliance and the BCIA, as well as serving on the BCIA committee.
