Are you sick and tired of battling with stinky diapers?

Then Rockin' Green should be on your cloth diaper playlist! It comes in 3 rockin' formulas and tons of sweet fragrances, which is music to anyones ears.

Hard Rock: This hard water formula is perfect for those that struggle with diaper laundry! Our newest formula in the lineup will knock the stink out of anything you throw at it!

This bag will do at least 45 loads in a top-loader and 90 in a front-loader, though some may find it does even more!

First Time User

The mission is to de-funk your diapers! To get rid of built up minerals and left over detergent do the following:

   1. Fill your washer with hot water and 3 Tbsp* of Rockin’ Green, along with your diapers.
   2. Let it soak for approximately 30-60 minutes. Then launder as usual, skipping the soap. If you have a HE machine, you may have to consult your manual but you can usually do a soak by pressing the start or pause button.

Tip: Repeat this process anytime you need a good deep-cleaning. If your diapers have excessive buildup or residue, it may take a few soaks to get them in good condition. For those with really hard water, you may find a quick soak before every wash helpful.

Washing Instructions:

Washing diapers and clothing should not be a complicated ordeal. Forget everything that you have heard, and keep it simple. You don‘t need extra boosters or add-ons with Rockin’ Green.

   1. Savor the smell of your Rockin’ Green detergent…ahh…yummy….
   2. Dump your diapers/clothes into the washer and do a cold rinse/wash to get the nasties out prior to the wash cycle. The more water, the better!
   3. Add the detergent and do a hot wash. Use 2-3 Tbsp* per load. For HE machines or those with soft water use 1-2 Tbsp*. Rockin’ Green is good for clothes and diapers. So toss a couple tablespoons in there!
   4. Double Rinse.
   5. Enjoy your clean fluff!

Continue to use Rockin’ Green to keep the stinkies at bay.

*If you have soft water, you may need less detergent than that indicated. So start with 1 tbs, and go up from there as needed.

Rinsing

Rockin’ Green is a clean rinsing formula, so many people find that they can eliminate extra rinses from the end of their wash routine. Which saves time and money!

Rockin’ Green makes the diaper laundry FUN again!

FAQ

-Is it safe for my diapers?

Absolutely! You don’t have to worry about repelling or buildup with Rockin’ Green. And you only use a small amount with each load of clothes, so it rinses clean. In most cases you don’t even need to do an extra rinse!

-Will it void my diaper warranty? Like with Bumgenius, etc?

Many manufacturers have specific instructions on how and what to use when washing your cloth diapers. For example Bumgenius states:

You should only use detergents that are free of dyes, enzymes, perfumes, essential oils, whiteners and brighteners.

Rockin’ Green is free of dyes, enzymes, whiteners and brighteners. So you can rest assured that it is safe for all diapers. The scented version does contain natural fragrances, so for those worried about warranty issues order either the soft rock version, or the classic or hard rock formula, unscented.

-Can I use it on other laundry?

Yes! We use it on all our laundry here, and many of my customers find it easier to use one detergent for all their laundry.

-My baby is really sensitive, what do you recommend?

Try the soft rock formula! It has been tested on some of the pickiest babies around with great results.

-My diapers stink! Will Rockin’ Green help?

Yeap! You can do a mini-strip when you first start using Rockin’ Green to get the jump on the funk.

1. Fill your washer with hot water and 3 Tbsp of Rockin’ Green, along with your diapers.

2. Let it soak for approximately 30-60 minutes. Then launder several times skipping the soap. If you have a HE machine, you may have to consult your manual but you can usually do a soak by pressing the start or pause button.

*Tip: Repeat this process anytime you need a good deep-cleaning. If your diapers have excessive buildup or residue, it may take a few soaks to get them in good condition.

You can also do a soak anytime that you feel your diapers need a good deep cleaning.

Keep using Rockin’ Green to keep the stinkies at bay.

-Do I need to do anything special if I am switching from another detergent? What about Tide?

If you are switching from a clean rinsing detergent, you may have little to no trouble switching to Rockin' Green. If you are using something like Tide however, you may experience some problems as the built up soap is drawn to the surface of your diapers. Even diapers that appeared to be clean before switching, may suddenly become stinky the first few washes with Rockin' Green. This is totally normal, and will improve with continued use. Some people may even experience rashes and repelling as the old detergent is being flushed out. To speed up the process, try Rockin' an overnight soak with 3 Tbs of Rockin' Green followed by several washes with nothing. Repeat the process until your diapers are fresh smelling again.

-Will Rockin’ Green work on my Hard Water? Soft Water?

Yes. Rockin’ Green was designed with hard water problems in mind, so even if you have had trouble finding things that work in the past, Rockin’ Green will surprise you. If you have soft water, you can use even less Rockin’ Green to get the same effect. Begin with 1 tbs, and adjust the amount as needed.

-My baby has a rash! Help!

Rashes can be caused by a lot of things, changes in diet, teething, suede-cloth allergies etc...so when in doubt send us an email and we will help you troubleshoot. Seriously, they call us the laundry gurus for a reason! Here's the most common causes of detergent related rashes and possible solutions:

-Did you recently switch to Rockin' Green? If you just made the jump, it's most likely old detergent coming to the surface and causing issues. Even if your first soak was clear, it's possible that minerals, enzymes and other gunk are now living on the surface of your diapers. So try Rockin' another soak and following up with several washes with nothing.

-Diapers look and smell great, but you are experiencing irritation? Get naked! Bare Naked that is....while we have taken great care to pick the gentlest scents on the market, we know that sometimes babies don't like to follow the rules. So skip the scent and try unscented.

-Diapers stinky? Coupled with sore bottoms? Check your wash routine. Make sure that you are doing enough rinsing at both the beginning and end of your routine. Sometimes adding on an extra rinse at the end is all you need to fix an angry bottom.

-Diapers stink and extra rinsing doesn't help? Make sure that you are using the right formula for your water type. When in doubt send us an email or give us a call and we would be happy to help you figure out your water type. We can not only identify your particular water issues, but help you figure out the right dosage too.

-I just started using Rockin’ Green and they smell worse! What’s up?

Sometimes, it takes a few washes to experience the full benefit of Rockin’ Green. With each wash, Rockin’ Green will work to pull out the trapped in detergent, grime and minerals that are inside your diapers and inserts, which can temporarily cause stink issues or even repelling for some people. If you experience this problem, we would suggest you Rock a Soak overnight and then do several washes with no soap added to flush out all the gunk. Repeat the process until your diapers are clean smelling, and then continue to use Rockin’ Green at the recommended dosage for day to day washings.

-Will the scented oils cause problems with my diapers?

There is approximately 10 drops of natural fragrance oil per 45 load batch so the amount of oil in each load is negligible. The oils used in Rockin’ Green are 100% natural, so the risk of irritation is much less than other scented products on the market.

-Will Rockin’ Green work on my HE Washer? My Frontloader?

Absolutely! And because it’s a non-foaming formula, you don’t have to worry about using too much in your HE washer. Just use 1 Tbs per load.

-What if my washer doesn’t accept powdered detergents?

Most washers have an option for both liquid and powdered detergents. You simply pop the liquid dispenser part out of the drawer to make it powder ready. If you wish you can mix the detergent with a cup or so of water to create a liquid, and then pour that into your detergent drawer.

-Is Rockin’ Green phosphate free?

Yes, Rockin’ Green is 100% phosphate free. And dioxin free....petroleum free...and fat free!

-Is Rockin’ Green SLS Free?

Yes! It’s also animal by-product free, never tested on animals…biodegradable….and a bunch of other Mother Earth Rockin’ goodness!

Good Detergent
Love this detergent. Funk is gone, diapers are soft, bottoms are in good condition. Everyone is happy all around :) AND Rock in Green has terrific marketing-- as I tore off the top of the bag I noted, "This bag is full of awesome. You're welcome." So, not only did I get a good detergent, but I got a smile, too :)

Love!
I started using RNG about 2 months ago when I started using cloth diapers. I didn't want to keep switching back and forth between detergents and someone suggested RNG hard rock. It has been great, my family's clothes seem cleaner and less dingy. The cloth diapers and going strong, no issues and haven't had to be stripped at all. It has made laundry so much easier. I would recomend RNG hard rock to anyone!

Not for me.
I really wanted to like this detergent. It gets rave reviews all the time, but it just doesn't work for me unless I use about 1/4-1/2 cup. If I use the 1-2tbs they recommend my diapers smell like they were washed in nothing but water. But it does clean ok if I use HUGE amounts..but for the price of this stuff who can afford that?

Good Detergent for Cloth Diapers!
Rockin Green is actually one of my top choices for detergent. I use another one aside from this but it's definitely my #2 choice. I have hard water so it helps with that. They have awesome scents and you can use it for anything! I have actually used it in the dishwasher to wash dishes with, even. It's great stuff!

Great!
I really like the hard rock, but I find I reach for the classic more. I enjoy all the rng formulas and use them as multipurpose cleaners

I LOVE to Rock a Soak!
I live in the city where RnG is produced- our city is built on limestone which causes some of the hardest water you'll find! Before i switched to RnG Hard Rock 2.0, my diapers came out of the washer smelling swampy! After "Rockin a Soak", then using 2-3 tbs in hot water with a 30-60 minute soak prior to running each wash cycle, followed by a double rinse, I've had zero stinkies! I highly recommend this product if you live in an area with hard water!

Not so Rockin
I really wanted to love this detergent but my son just keeps getting rashes no matter what I do. I can use tide free with no problems. I have tried almost every kind and rocked tons of soaks. It is great for cleaning toilets though and around the house.

Works for us!!
This works great for us. We have a well and don't have a water softener. The only problem I've run into is using too much detergent for too few diapers but that's user error!!

Not 100% sold on the detergent, but the owners are GREAT
I'm still not 100% sold on this detergent but I'm awaiting a bag tomorrow & hopefully it's not my last! I WANT TO LOVE IT! I've had some good washes & not so good washes! Never had one of those "funky, see all kinds of dirt in the tub soaks" which always leaves me wondering what I'm doing wrong.. but I'm still holding out and giving it more time, hoping it's user error. Customer service is FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!

Hard Rock Rockin' Green
I recently switched to Hard Rock from Classic Rock and it has made an enormous difference. My diapers (and clothes) come out cleaner and smelling better. I started using Rockin' Green on all of our laundry several months ago because it works great and is just as cost effective.

Love RnG!
I recommend this to EVERYONE! I used to use a commercial detergent on my diapers, and very quickly realized that it was coating them and they stunk! I got Rockin' Green, soaked them, and have been washing in it ever since!
