Prefolds & Flats

Prefolds are what many people think of as "old-fashioned" cloth diapers, but they are still extremely popular because they are inexpensive, durable, easy to wash, and fit any shape baby.  The diaper is folded around the baby and fastened on with a Snappi or pins, or simply folded in thirds and laid into a wrap-style cover.  A separate waterproof cover is required.
