 Happy Baby Company is Pittsburgh's only source for thoughtful, natural parenting products. We began in 2009 as Pittsburgh Cloth Diapers, working out of our house, with a mission to make cloth diapering easy. We used cloth diapers on all three (now four) of our children and knew that with a little support and education, other parents would choose cloth, too. So we converted our messy playroom into a cloth diaper showroom and began offering free cloth diaper orientation sessions. We also launched a free shipping website, which quickly became popular nationwide. A year later, it was clear that our little showroom (and using our dining room table as our shipping department), wasn't going to cut it anymore. So, pregnant with our fourth child, we decided to take the leap into our next stage of growth... We opened a retail store! We now carry other great products like baby slings and carriers, organic clothing, natural toys, baby-safe body products, and more. We designed our store to be as family-friendly as possible. We offer a playroom for the older kids, a nursing room for mom, and a classroom where we now hold our (still free) cloth diaper orientations. We remain family owned (it's still just me, my husband Adam, and our four kids) and we look forward to serving the Pittsburgh area for years to come.
